Nanoparticle electrode for batteries can make grid-scale power storage feasible

Researchers have used nanoparticles of a copper compound to develop a high-power battery electrode this is so inexpensive to make, so efficient and so durable that it can be used to construct batteries sufficiently big for economical large-scale energy storage at the electrical grid — something researchers have looked for years.
